Hazard Class for Humans and Bees – 3 (Low Hazard).

Description:

Mospilan Powder (Water-Soluble):

Active Ingredient: Acetamiprid, concentration 200 g/kg

Manufacturer: Nippon Soda Co., Ltd., Japan.

Form: Soluble Powder

Purpose: Systemic insecticide with contact and stomach action against pests from the orders Lepidoptera, Hemiptera, Thysanoptera, Coleoptera, and Homoptera.

The product has systemic and contact actions and can spread throughout the plant. Thus, the product's action against pests is also effective on untreated parts of the plants.

Mechanism of Action: The product features excellent systemic and translaminar action on plants, being absorbed by all parts and evenly distributed. As a result, the effect of the product is visible even on untreated parts of the plant.

Pests die from direct contact with the product and by ingesting treated parts of the plant. The insecticidal action manifests as nervous system damage in insects, leading to death from excessive stimulation and paralysis. Depending on the type of insect, the product affects eggs, larvae, or adults.

Effective Against:

  • Whitefly
  • Apple sawfly and codling moth
  • Apple and mining moth
  • Netted leaf roller
  • Common beet weevil, gray beet weevil
  • Beet flea beetles
  • Shield bugs
  • Beet leaf aphid
  • Sand weevil
  • All types of aphids
  • Cabbage seedpod weevil
  • Rape pollen beetle
  • Hidden snout beetle
  • Rape bug
  • Wheat weevil
  • Scale insects – all types
  • Fleas (psyllid)
  • Cruciferous fleas
  • Colorado potato beetle
  • Flies
  • Thrips
  • Leech larvae
  • Harmful turtle bugs
  • Locusts and other harmful insects

In greenhouses and conservatories, it destroys western flower thrips, greenhouse and peach aphids, and greenhouse whiteflies. Depending on the pest type, it affects adult insects, larvae, and eggs.

Advantages of the Product:

  • Due to its new mechanism of action, pests do not develop resistance to it.
  • Maintains high biological effectiveness at normal and elevated temperatures.
  • Non-phytotoxic.
  • Compatible with most pesticides, except highly alkaline ones.
  • Does not cake during storage and retains its properties despite temperature fluctuations.

Application Method:

  • Dissolve 2.5 g in 1 liter of water. Then, to prepare a ready-to-spray solution, dilute 1/5 part of the concentrate (200 ml) in 8-10 liters of water. This amount is sufficient for treating 200-250 square meters depending on the sprayer type. A 2.5 g packet is enough to treat 1000 square meters.

  • For apple trees, prepare a concentrate with 2.5 g of the product, dilute in water with thorough mixing (2.5 g in 1 liter of water, mix thoroughly and add to a bucket filled 1/4 with water, then fill the rest of the bucket while mixing). Total solution volume: 10-12 liters.

  • To treat scale insects, use 4-5 g of the product to prepare the concentrate, then dilute with water to a total solution volume of 10-12 liters.

  • For Colorado potato beetle: dosage 5-8 g/10 liters of water, with a working solution rate of up to 5.0 liters per 100 square meters.

Effects: The product's effects are visible within an hour of treatment: insects exhibit spasmodic movements, adult whiteflies cannot hold onto the undersides of leaves and fall. The next day, dead insects can be seen under plants or on lower leaves. Treatment does not cause leaf burns under different sunlight conditions. Bees introduced into the greenhouse a day after treatment did not lose activity.

Precautions:

  • Hazard Class - 3 (moderately hazardous substance).
  • The product is slightly hazardous to bees – hazard class. Do not treat during flowering.
  • Recommended to use before flowering or 7-10 days after the end of flowering in gardens, and at any time for indoor plants. Number of treatments per season should not exceed 1 time.
